Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) and Beca are proud to be one of only four consortia to be contracted as a Major Service Provider (MSP) to the Capability, Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) of the Department of Defence.
The MSP is a new CASG initiative enabling longer periods of above-the-line contracting providing greater business surety, reducing costs and enhancing value for money outcomes for Department of Defence programs as they embark upon delivering the Government’s ambitious integrated investment program.
The new approach enables CASG to more effectively engage with industry to better leverage resources and experience and ensures an enhanced and sustainable industry capability exists to support Commonwealth work requirements. The work promotes collaborative behaviours, and strategic, co-operative and constructive working relationships between the Commonwealth and industry.
“Jacobs and Beca are committed to working collaboratively with Defence. Trust, integrity and honesty will underpin our partnership going forward. The partnership will enable the Team to significantly expand its engagement with Australian small business to quickly deliver the innovative solutions required by Defence” said Darren Kraabel, Senior Vice President Jacobs Aerospace and Technology
Beca Managing Director Australia, Craig Lee, said partnering with Jacobs to deliver the MSP services was a natural fit for both organisations.
“Our partnership with Jacobs is strong and enduring, in fact it precedes the MSP. We recognised early on that our shared approach to delivering results for our clients is what brings us together and will keep us together,” Craig said.
