Beca welcomes Lachlan Daniel to our NSW Transport team

Beca is delighted to welcome Lachlan Daniel to our NSW Transport team as Principal – Rail & Major Projects, based in our Sydney office.
A dedicated and experienced professional in the rail sector, Lachlan will play an important role in our NSW Transport team, helping oversee our growing portfolio of rail projects.

He will also be actively involved in mentoring our younger engineers and project delivery managers, helping ensure we continue to make everyday better for the communities we serve for many years to come, by delivering the highest quality infrastructure.

With over 30 years’ experience delivering iconic railway projects throughout Australasia, Asia, South America, Middle East, the United Kingdom and Ireland, Lachlan has built a strong reputation as a passionate and dedicated leader within the railway sector. This includes heavy haul railway, light rail, metro and general passenger rail projects.

“As an Engineer, it’s a great time to be involved in the Transport Industry with mega, iconic road and rail projects to be delivered over the next 5 years throughout Australia and New Zealand.

I am delighted to be joining the diverse and strong Beca team in Sydney, driving technical excellence and delivery to schedule, on all of our current and future projects'' says Lachlan.

Lachlan joins Beca from his most recent role as a Senior Associate at boutique engineering firm BG&E where he has successfully grown their rail capability and expertise across Australia and New Zealand.
