Greg is accountable for the business operations of the Beca group, leading delivery of our global strategic objectives. With a distinguished track record in project delivery and business growth, he has extensive experience in the consulting sector.
He was Managing Director for our Australia operation for six years, leading and building our services for that region. He has also been Regional Manager in Wellington, New Zealand, focusing on government and commercial sectors, particularly in Defence, Rail and Airports.
Senior Technical Director - Planning
I strongly believe in good stakeholder and community engagement. The process of listening (and then talking) to the people in our communities is critical to fully understanding any project issues.
A geographer by training, Amelia is also a Senior Technical Director in our planning team. She has directed many community-changing strategic and policy planning, infrastructure planning, statutory consents and consultation projects.
Amelia has been a member of the Advisory Board for the New Zealand Sustainable Business Council and an Editor for Planning Quarterly (the NZ Planning Institute’s official journal). She was recently selected for the Global Women Breakthrough Leadership Programme, a programme tailored to develop the breakthrough thinking that drives exceptional leadership performance in executive leadership teams, governance roles and wider spheres for economic and social impact.
Lee Ang Seng
Managing Director - Singapore

Lee Ang Seng has been a key member of Beca Asia's leadership team since October 2013, when he became MD. Over a career spanning more than 20 years, he has guided our Singapore team and has also been an industry leader, in his capacity as a highly skilled consulting engineer in the Singapore buildings market. He is committed to guiding others to reach their full potential, and under his direction the Singapore Buildings Services team has earned many industry accolades, particularly in the Green Buildings space.
Ang Seng's hands-on approach has seen him lead some of our most prestigious projects as Technical Job Director, including Universal Studios in Resorts World Sentosa and Changi Airport's Terminal 4 project.
Country Manager - Myanmar

For the past 10 years, Andrew has fulfilled many exciting roles as a project manager, design manager, lead electrical engineer, coach and mentor. He has moved from New Zealand to Australia, to Thailand and then Singapore, before settling in Myanmar which he now calls home.
His many accomplishments in the buildings, infrastructure and industrial markets, include airports, data centres, distribution centres, and commercial buildings. As well as leading our Yangon office and helping to develop our team of 40, Andrew is working with Professional Associations and international organisations to contribute to responsible development in Myanmar.

Damian joined Beca in 2005 with a background in marketing. He quickly developed a passion for business development and spent a few years strategically positioning Beca for major projects in our key markets. He joined the New Zealand infrastructure leadership team as the Marketing and Business Development Manager in 2008, playing a key role developing Beca Airports and our participation in the Roads of National Significance programme. Since early 2016 he has focussed on leading and growing our global Transport and Infrastructure teams.
Damian has held the position of Group Sales and Marketing Director for several years. He places tremendous importance on working with the marketing team and our 'team of 3000' to transform the way we reach and interact with our clients. His focus on client service excellence and high performance has resulted in the development of several client relationship management and engagement initiatives, and his infectious enthusiasm has been rewarded with several industry-leading client satisfaction awards for Beca.
Catherine has a distinguished track record in the finance sector, largely with professional services firm PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers).
She has held a range of senior positions with the firm, with several years' experience as a consultant on mergers and acquisitions across Europe.
Catherine's understanding of emerging markets, allied to her passion for engineering, is a natural alignment with Beca’s growth aspirations. She currently serves as a Councillor of the University of Canterbury and holds a number of company directorships, including Christchurch International Airport, Ngai Tahu Holdings, the Christchurch Earthquake Recovery Authority and the New Zealand Hockey Federation.
Country Manager - Fiji/South Pacific
Abhishek advocates a programme management approach to capital works delivery, helping clients to develop procurement strategies and streamline their delivery processes.
After graduating from the University of Auckland, he worked in Fiji for four years on a wide variety of projects including the facilities upgrade programme for the 2003 South Pacific Games and the Asian Development Bank funded Sanitation, Public Health and Environment Programme.
During 12 years back in New Zealand, he worked closely with Auckland Council to deliver award-winning local government programmes. He has now come full circle, leading our Beca team and projects in Fiji, in partnership with Erasito Consultants Ltd.
Executive Chairman, Chief Technical Officer and Regional Director - Asia

With a background is in geotechnical engineering and the commercial and design management of many major projects, David is responsible for looking after Beca's professional practice development. As our technical leader globally, he directs our focus on professional excellence and the systematic development of greater technical capability among our team of 3000; and developing and enhancing their career paths.
As Executive Chairman and Regional Director for Beca in Asia, David also takes an active role in the growth and direction of our Asia business. He sits on a number of boards including Beca Group, CH2M Beca and Beca AMEC.
Chief Strategy and Operations Officer

Don is a highly experienced project director who works closely with clients on business strategy, policy development and assessing the strategic impacts of statutory and regulatory issues on project implementation. His specific expertise includes strategic urban and coastal planning, project management and community consultation.
Don has been with Beca since 1992 and has been involved in many of New Zealand’s large development, infrastructure and consenting projects. He is passionate about developing people as well as promoting excellence in client service.
Business Director - ASEAN Markets, Operations Manager - Structures, Thailand

Following a 10-year career spanning professional environments in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Singapore and Malaysia, Geoff settled in Thailand in 1996.
Recognising the opportunities in this growing market, he founded Warnes Associates and developed a skilled local team, rapidly growing to 70 staff by 2006. This growth was fuelled by creating satellite offices in Phuket in 2002 and Samui two years later. He also established Warnes Associates Pte Ltd, Singapore in late 2005 to enable more regionally-based work.
Geoff and his Warnes team joined forces with Beca (Thailand) Co. Ltd in 2015, further extending the reach of the team and providing a platform for future growth.
General Manager - Thailand

Vanich has 25 years’ experience as a civil, structural and geotechnical engineer, with particular expertise in high rise buildings, basement design and construction management.
He joined Warnes Associates in 2001, quickly proving himself by becoming a director in 2002. Following Warnes Associates teaming up with Beca (Thailand) Co. Ltd in 2015, he’s now director of Beca Warnes.
Here he’s responsible for managing the design office, including all conceptual design and quality control, as well as business development.
Vanich has been involved in some of Warnes’ largest projects, both within Thailand and internationally. This includes Bed Supper Club, W Hotel in Bangkok and Mahanakorn Tower.

Following a rewarding career in the Royal Australian Navy and several years in consulting and general management, Craig joined our team to grow our Australian defence business. His leadership skills and extensive consulting experience has driven the strategy development and policy implementation for a number of defence and commercial initiatives, and supported clients with direction and contractual management.
Craig now leads the Australian operations as Managing Director. He also a Director of Beca Consultants Pty Ltd, Beca Applied Technologies Ltd and the General Manager Advisory in Australia.

As a professional independent director for several New Zealand companies and the previous Chair and Chief Executive for KPMG New Zealand, Ms Dawson brings valuable insights and expertise in the professional services field to her Beca Group board role.
Her career spans 30 years specialising in audit and accounting services in the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand. Jan is currently Chair of Westpac New Zealand Limited, Deputy Chair of Air New Zealand Limited, and a director of AIG Insurance New Zealand Limited and Meridian Energy Limited. She is the Pro Chancellor for the University of Auckland and a Trustee for the Maritime Museum.

With the diversity and geographic spread of our industrial clients and the ever increasing range of skills across our team, we’re finding more opportunities for innovation than ever before.
Ian provides strategic direction for our wide variety of industrial markets across the Beca group, including food and beverage, mining and metals, oil and gas, wood products, and chemicals.
Ian has worked in senior engineering, project management and technical leadership roles in a diverse range of markets including infrastructure, industrial and buildings sectors. He led the growth and success of our international industrial business over the years as General Manager (International Food and Beverage Services) and has led the delivery of multidiscipline services to clients drawing from the wide range of skills within the wider Beca Group. Ian has an in-depth understanding of our diverse clients and market drivers, and brings a holistic perspective to our own and our clients’ strategies for growth.
Group Director - Industrial Markets
It’s not enough to look to tomorrow, next month or next year. For our industrial clients, knowing we’re in it with them for the long haul and that we’re thinking 10 and 20 years ahead makes all the difference.
John is responsible for leading the group-wide strategy for our Food and Beverage business - a key growth area for Beca. With a career spanning some 37 years, he has extensive experience working in Australia and New Zealand and has held a number of project leadership roles in heavy and light industry sectors, with specialist skills including long term strategic development planning and proven negotiation skills.
In Australia, John has led Beca's expansion from Food and Beverage and Distribution into the heavy industrial market sectors of Chemicals, Oil and Gas and Mining and Metals. He also established our specialist capability in EPCM delivery.
Country Manager - Indonesia
Andrew has worked with Beca in Indonesia since 2004, supporting clients in light and heavy industrial projects. He is a mechanical engineer with an MBA and more than 14 years of experience across the food and beverage, mining and metals and manufacturing industries.

Seven years ago, Laurent arrived in New Zealand from France with a passion for people and an ambition to further grow and develop his flourishing career in HR. Chief Finance Officer

Over the last few years, Mark has played an increasingly prominent role in Beca's aspirations to grow its client base and service delivery across the wider Asia-Pacific marketplace.
Mark joined Beca in 1999 as International Accounting Manager and, as the Beca Group grew and matured, he transitioned into broader finance and executive leadership roles. He was appointed Beca's Group Finance Director in 2013, and took on his current role as Chief Finance Officer in April 2016. Mark is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of CPA Australia, and holds a Masters in Commerce from the University of Auckland.

Thomas has a doctorate in chemical engineering, and his insights and leadership have put Beca on the map in the areas of business performance, asset performance and applied technology. His strong business acumen has also seen him grow and lead the integration of all Defence activity across the group, with active involvement in defence industry in Australia and New Zealand.
He has also led the development of Beca’s strategic business consulting services, with a focus on helping clients exploit and adapt to technology-led disruption of their businesses. As CIO for Beca, Thomas engages with peers and industry leaders to stay abreast of and influence technology sector trends.
