Beca welcomes Sujatha Manoj as Australian Geotechnical Services Lead

Beca is excited to welcome Sujatha Manoj PhD CPEng FIEAust to our Australian Transport & Infrastructure (T&I) team as Technical Director – Geotechnical and our Geotechnical Services Leader for Australia.

A distinguished professional with over 31 years' experience, Sujatha has worked in a wide range of civil and geotechnical engineering roles across Australia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and India.

Most recently she led Mott MacDonald’s engagement with Sydney Metro West, with responsibility for all geotechnical components of the multi-billion dollar Central Tunnelling Package - an 11km twin tunnel including seven station boxes. Sujatha has also authored many technical papers and is a regular speaker at key industry conferences.

As Technical Director - Geotechnical Engineering, Sujatha will provide technical leadership to our geotechnical teams in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. She will be supporting the development of a culture of outstanding delivery to make our clients incredible ideas a reality and will mentor team members as they grow their technical skills. She will also engage in internal, cross-business line business development, supporting growth across all areas of Beca’s Australian operations.

In her Geotechnical Services Leader – Australia role, she will be growing Beca’s profile externally, pursuing geotechnical engineering opportunities across the markets we face and engaging with clients alongside our CRMs and Market Leaders.

Sujatha will be based in Sydney and will sit in the NSW transport section. She will also engage regularly with our T&I Australian leadership team.
