Beca Singapore Appoints New Business Director for Industrial Digital Advisory

Beca is excited to announce the appointment of Jackie Tan as Business Director, Industry Advisory, effective 6 June 2022. Based in our Singapore office, Jackie will be responsible for growing our Industrial Digital offerings to companies in the manufacturing sector.

Jackie brings 11 years of experience in business strategy, technical advisory, and technology implementation. Prior to joining Beca, Jackie was Vice President at TÜV SÜD, where he led the incubation and growth of their Industry 4.0 (I4.0) business. Before that, he was the Manufacturing Systems Lead for Rolls-Royce in the UK, where he oversaw the digital manufacturing workstreams for a new factory, from conceptualisation to full operation phase.

Jackie is a passionate advocate when it comes to adoption of I4.0 technologies for digital transformation. Appointed by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as one of the world’s leading I4.0 experts, he developed the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI), an internationally recognised standard for I4.0 transformation, with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and partners. He also led the implementation of SIRI to more than 400 companies globally and established the SIRI Assessor Certification programme.

Jackie holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK.
