Beca appoints new Group Director - Industrial

Beca has appointed Jimmy Walsh as Group Director - Industrial, responsible for leading the firm’s global industrial business of nearly 400 professionals.

Beca’s Industrial Business Group partners with clients across a range of markets including food & beverage, minerals & metals, oil & gas, forestry, power, and wood products. Beca offers expertise in the inception, planning, design and delivery management of capital assets, as well as leading thinking around new technologies which enable clients to optimise new and existing asset performance. 

CEO Greg Lowe said, “Our Industrial business was the first of our truly globally integrated operations and is developing world leading capabilities in new service areas. Jimmy brings a unique strategic perspective on how we can continue to chart new waters, expanding our client base, service offering and global reach.” 
Jimmy was previously General Manager for International Markets, leading business coordination for Beca’s numerous consulting assignments outside of its main geographical centres. He also held the role of General Manager for Group Strategy. He has previously led delivery of major projects, working with clients in more than 20 countries in ASEAN, the Pacific and the Americas.
