Rex Inger returns to Beca as a Business Director in Power and Energy

We’re excited to welcome back Rex Inger to Beca, who has stepped into the pivotal role of Business Director in the Power team, based out of Auckland. In his new position, Rex will work alongside our Client and Market community across New Zealand and Australia, while also leading the delivery of significant projects.

Spanning a nearly 20-year career in the Power sector, Rex has built a reputation as a dedicated people and client-focused leader.  He has been instrumental in delivering numerous high-voltage infrastructure projects and has held key client management roles across transmission and distribution, renewables, and industrial/infrastructure power markets. 

Rex’s career journey began at our Wellington office where he was part of the overhead transmission lines team. From these roots, he developed his technical and delivery skillset to a Principal level, collaborating alongside a diverse range of clients and projects. Following a successful stint in a large global consultancy, Rex felt the pull to return to Beca.
