Beca’s Emma Mannion named Regional Lead for Women in BIM New Zealand

We’re pleased to announce Beca’s Emma Mannion, Manager - Digital Engineering Advisory was recently named as a Regional Lead for Women in BIM (WIB) in New Zealand.
In taking on this leadership position, she joins a distinguished network of 75+ other Regional Leads across the globe whose role is to support and promote female BIM (Building Information Modelling) professionals to reach their potential through a combination of networking events and educational opportunities. She also joins fellow Kiwi’s Melanie Tristam, Simoné Roux and Keri Niven who represent the Auckland and Christchurch regions respectively.

Emma’s new role as Regional Lead also builds upon Beca’s existing partnership with Women in BIM, and our unique position as just one of two WIB silver sponsors in the Asia Pacific region, and the only sponsoring organisation headquartered in New Zealand.

In commenting on her exciting appointment, Emma said “as a young female leader in the construction industry I am passionate about empowering others and supporting a diverse and inclusive sector. I’m honoured to be appointed to this role, as it builds on my commitment to WiB as both a mentor and Beca’s WiB Partnership lead”.
