“I am honoured to become a member of a century-old engineering organisation, that has such a focus on quality service delivery, and on forming trusted, credible, and long-term client and partner relationships. I look forward to contributing and sharing my own experience, to further promote Beca as a technical leader in the Civil Infrastructure space, and encouraging the firm’s great innovation and teamwork to overcome engineering challenges,” says Rohitha Silva

With 25+ years’ civil and structural engineering experience in Australia and Thailand, including more than 12 years in Sydney, Rohitha has been involved in the design and construction of over 70 major infrastructure projects. His wide-ranging expertise extends to include design and construction, and also verification and proof engineering of bridges, buildings, tunnels, underpasses, industrial plants, airports, civil and rail infrastructure.

“We are really excited to welcome Rohitha into our Transport team here in NSW, where he will take on a vital role in helping drive forward the quality, sustainable, and resilient outcomes we strive for, for our clients and communities. With his extensive design and construction experience across a wide range of infrastructure, demonstrated ability and willingness to share his knowledge with others, I know he will be a great fit and make a big impact right across the sector,” says Simon Berry, Manager - Transport NSW.
