On 8 May, international experts will join our homegrown talent to discuss the role of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in New Zealand’s digital future.
Part of an industry-wide transformation, BIM has the potential to increase productivity in the NZ building and construction sector and have a huge impact on how we manage and operate our assets effectively.
Beca’s Brett Naylor will be presenting on the Mason Bros. Building in Auckland, where BIM data is being used to change the face of building operations. He will be joined by Glenn Jowett, who will be talking about the huge gains that can be made throughout the lifecycle of a building by understanding what you want to do with the data before it’s even built.
The conference, which will be held at Te Papa, Wellington, will also play host to a number of international speakers who will talk about their experiences in BIM and new technologies, including Brendan Dillan, BIM Manager at Denver Airport, Rebecca De Cicco, Director of Digital Node in the UK, and Ronan Collins, Head of Project Information Management for Gamuda Engineering and Construction in Malaysia.
