Beca Singapore hosts Smart Cities Council ANZ

Beca Singapore hosted the Smart Cities Council ANZ for a workshop to review the ASEAN Code for Smart Communities recently.

With the Executive Director for SCC ANZ, Adam Beck, SCC ASEAN Lead, Tay Kok Chin, and over 30+ delegates from the smart cities community in attendance, the group took part in productive workshopping focused on ensuring future cities are both smart and sustainable.

When finalised the Code will be used to assess future smart communities and cities, referencing the ISO standards and with a clear link to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
