Beca is pleased to announce the appointment of Lee Roberts as the Global Minerals and Metals Segment Leader, taking over from Matt Kebbell from July 1st.
Lee began the first 10 years of his career working in the Beca New Zealand Steel industry. Now 25 years on, Lee has expanded his knowledge and skills in Design, Project Delivery and People Management, making him a fitting candidate to lead the ANZ Minerals and Metals sector.
Lee Roberts will be working with our National Segment Managers and connecting our various Minerals & Metals strategies, whilst continuing his role of OM for the New Zealand Industrial Business. His collaborative approach will strengthen the ties between Australia and New Zealand to become a truly global segment.
“I see this as a fantastic opportunity to leverage off my history in the Minerals and Metals segment as well as my relationships with the passionate people we have spread throughout the Beca business, to create a truly global segment,” he said.
With a passion for the industry, Lee will lead the Minerals and Metals business into its next exciting phase of growth and evolution, developing new areas including urban mining (recovering precious materials from wastes streams) and helping clients improve efficiency and sustainability targets.
