Progression into senior roles at Beca is about growing your impact, not just your job title. As you step up from intermediate, you’ll take on bigger scope and more autonomy—leading workstreams, owning client outcomes, shaping delivery strategy and quality, and coaching others while building your commercial and risk judgement.


Progress is assessed on demonstrated capability, behaviours and outcomes—not time alone—and there’s flexibility to move across sectors, disciplines and locations as you grow. Your manager will work with you create the senior pathway that fits you best.

Mobility at Beca is about growing your impact and keeping work interesting through variety in projects, disciplines and locations. We shape opportunities around your development goals and life circumstances, with timing guided by project needs. You share your interests in conversations with your manager and we will collaboratively map options that fit. Opportunities vary by discipline and location.

You will have the opportunity to discuss flexibility options about how, where and when you work, to balance your work and personal life. For you, it may be coming in earlier or later, going to an appointment during work hours, working part-time, or many other arrangements to suit you.

When work peaks, we plan and support for sustainability, not burnout. You’ll have clear priorities, regular check ins with your manager, and a safe space to speak up early so we can adjust scope, sequencing and deadlines.
