Employee benefits

Flexible working arrangements

You will have the opportunity to discuss flexibility options about how, where and when you work, to balance your work and personal life. For you, it may be coming in earlier or later, going to an appointment during work hours, working part-time, or many other arrangements to suit you.

Family friendly parental leave

Our parental leave entitlements are designed to help you thrive at home and work as your family grows. We offer attractive parental leave benefits that provide flexibility for shared care plus additional support to help you stay connected and transition back into the workplace.

Diversity and inclusion

To support our Rainbow community and celebrate diversity, we offer a number of initiatives including supporting employees who are going through the gender affirmation process.

Compassionate leave

Be there for those who matter most to you, with our enhanced compassionate leave. Additional bereavement leave (up to three additional days) is provided for people who may have to travel overseas, carry out responsibilities relating to the bereavement and/or cultural reasons.

Wellbeing leave

In line with our value of 'Care', we offer wellbeing leave so you can make time for whatever matters most to you and to take care of yourself. This is in addition to annual leave, and is available to all permanent or fixed-term employees.

Volunteer Leave

Reflecting our purpose to 'make everyday better', we offer volunteer leave so you can do your part in areas that are important to you and support your community. This is in addition to annual leave and is available to all permanent or fixed-term employees.

Career development and growth

Empower Intermediate Programme

Intermediate-level employees undergo a two-year development programme designed to build capability in areas that are important for your career success. It's also an opportunity to connect with your colleagues and the wider team, and work with other intermediates to gain tips and tricks to effectively navigate your career.

Development opportunities

Whatever your career level, you can access a range of online courses in areas to develop your skills. Our 'MyPotential' program aligns to the direction of the business and how your individual efforts align, providing clarity on what your key priorities are. It also supports what drives and motivates you, and what you want to achieve in your career long-term.

Mentor and mentee opportunities

Our people have an extensive pool of knowledge and experience, offering you the chance to grow and develop your career. Through this relationship, you can support each other’s interests and career goals, develop your professional knowledge and skills, and navigate career choices.

Employee Assistance Program

We're committed to prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our people in a practical way. Teamwork and trust underpin our commitment to creating a sustainable work environment, and through our Employee Assistance Program, you will have to access support and coaching anytime you need to be your best self.

Employee-led social groups

We have a range of employee affinity groups that connect our people, increase a sense of inclusion, and raise awareness of certain topics. Groups include the Green Team (sustainability), Gender at Beca and the Reconciliation Action Plan Team. You can also join our office-based social clubs that run social activities and entertainment.

Wattle Awards (Australia)

Our annual employee Wattle Awards recognises and celebrate the hard work and achievements of our Australian employees that are making everyday better for our people, clients and communities.
