Services We Provide


From our Bangkok office we provide a mix of engineering and consulting services across buildings, transport, industry and the public sector. Building Design and Development


Our building design and development team supports Thai and international clients with integrated architectural, structural, MEP and building services solutions. We work on new developments, redevelopments and fit-outs, combining local code knowledge with international standards and green building expertise. Our engineers and project managers coordinate closely with your design team, using digital models and clear documentation so concepts can be turned into buildable, comfortable and high-performance buildings.

Structural Engineering


Thailand's 2021 seismic code update pushed structural requirements up sharply for buildings across Bangkok, adding new detailing rules for concrete frames and stability checks for architectural elements. Beca's structural engineers work across heritage retrofits carrying new loads on old foundations, signature towers well past standard height limits, and long-span design for large public buildings. Seismic performance, load paths and detailing are handled in close coordination with our geotechnical and civil teams.

Civil Engineering


Eighty millimetres of rain in three hours is roughly where Bangkok's drainage network reaches its limit, a threshold monsoon season tests most years. Site grading, stormwater management and drainage connections get sized against that real rainfall data. This is work Beca handles as part of the civil engineering scope on every project, in direct coordination with the structural and geotechnical teams on site. Raised ground floors, on-site detention and pump capacity all come into play depending on a given site’s exposure.

Geotechnical Engineering


Beca's geotechnical engineers work through Bangkok's clay basin, a soil profile that shifts sharply within a few hundred metres and has driven decades of settlement problems and building subsidence across the city. Foundation design here starts with site investigation, then moves into piling, ground improvement and settlement analysis, work that feeds directly into the structural decisions on the towers and public buildings covered elsewhere on this page. Material testing and interpretation sit alongside this, giving clients hard data to work from before committing to a design.

Industrial Engineering


Industrial projects in Thailand tend to combine complex process systems with tight programmes and high reliability expectations. Our industrial engineering team helps clients plan, design and improve production lines, utilities and support services in plants such as food and beverage, manufacturing and logistics facilities. Bank of Thailand Learning Center


The Bank of Thailand Learning Center converts the bank’s former note-printing works and gold depository on the Chao Phraya River into a public education and exhibition space. Working with competition-winning architects Creative Crews, Beca provided structural, building services and IT engineering plus construction supervision to add new spaces such as a 500-person ballroom on top of the existing building while retaining its key heritage elements.

Green Spot Soy Milk Plant


The Green Spot factory at Nong Khae Industrial Estate in Saraburi is a greenfield soymilk production facility built to support major growth in Thailand and export markets. Beca supplied process, industrial and project management expertise for the site and plant layout, integrating advanced processing, packaging and warehousing systems so the facility can operate efficiently today and accommodate future automation.

One Bangkok


One Bangkok is a 16.7-hectare mixed-use district beside Lumphini Park and one of Thailand’s largest building projects, with a planned 90-storey signature tower, 13 towers in total and over 1.8 million m² of floor area. Beca is providing structural and building services design across the precinct, helping this ambitious development target international benchmarks for sustainability, smart building performance and urban connectivity.

Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC)


Queen Sirikit National Convention Center is Thailand’s first international convention venue and has recently been rebuilt as a much larger, world-class event hub in Bangkok’s CBD. Beca (Thailand) acted as structural engineer for the major renovation, working with local partners to deliver a three-level, 280,000 m² facility that can host large exhibitions and conferences while meeting modern seismic, safety and performance expectations.
