Beca Singapore recognised for exemplary WSH performance

We are proud to announce that Beca Singapore has won the prestigious bizSAFE Enterprise Exemplary Award at the 2021 bizSAFE Awards ceremony that was held virtually on 29 July.

The annual bizSAFE Awards is the most prestigious health & safety award scheme in Singapore. The bizSAFE Enterprise Exemplary Award recognises bizSAFE STAR companies that have shown outstanding workplace safety and health (WSH) performance and proven to have high standards of leadership, systems and tools in the area of caring for employees’ health, safety, and wellbeing.

Health, safety, and wellbeing are permanent priorities across all our business lines at Beca. This latest accolade is a great testament to our commitment towards risk management and accident prevention on our projects and shows that we are a company that cares for our people.

Beca employs about 180 staff in Singapore including those who are stationed across project sites. Over the last one year, in the face of a pandemic, Beca Singapore’s leadership team led its people to adapt to changes quickly and overcome challenging business conditions. Supported by the leadership team, staff actively participated in several health, safety and wellbeing initiatives that helped to strengthen the team’s safety culture.
