Moving forward together at the Āpōpō Congress 2024

This year’s Āpōpō Congress (formerly known as IPWEA NZ) is focused on moving forward together – te anga whakamua tahi - and is set to take place from 21 to 23 May at Tākina Convention & Exhibition Centre, in Wellington.

We are proud to be supporting the Congress as gold supreme sponsor, and in particular the keynote session with Pio Terei.

Troy Brockbank, Te Mana o te Wai Lead at Beca, says, "The Āpōpō Congress 2024 embodies Beca's ethos of 'Te anga whakamua tahi,' uniting to 'make everyday better' for our communities. Our rich tapestry of te ao Māori influences underscores our dedication to inclusivity and innovation.

"Sharing insights and learning collectively, we stand poised to confront challenges and embrace opportunities, forging a safer, brighter future for generations to come. In Aotearoa, asset management leadership flourishes by intertwining indigenous principles with local practices. Within Beca, our Māori business advisory team, Te Ahi Tūtata, serves as a prime example of this harmonious blend, seamlessly incorporating mātauranga Māori into our initiatives. Here, we witness the tangible results of our approach: holistic solutions and cultural sensitivity catalysing transformative shifts in asset management."

Our team are also thrilled to attend the conference and are looking forward to engaging with our valued clients and partners. The Congress promises to be thought-provoking and insightful with a great lineup of speakers from across the industry.
