Beca welcomes Darragh O’Donovan to grow our Australian Water business

Beca is excited to welcome Darragh O’Donovan in the role of Technical Director - Water, to support the ongoing growth of our Australian water business, Beca HunterH2O.

An experienced engineering professional with a distinguished career in the Water sector, Darragh, based in Melbourne, will continue to grow and nurture the long-term partnerships already established by Beca HunterH2O with all three metropolitan water authorities. He joins the ranks of Beca HunterH2O’s three other Technical Directors who oversee the delivery of best-practice technical engineering.

With a strong passion for environmental protection, Darragh is driven by opportunities to serve the community through delivering high quality solutions that address water industry challenges.

Before joining Beca in March this year, Darragh was part of Jacobs’ Southern Water Infrastructure business where he led a team delivering consulting and design work for water authority clients across Victoria and Tasmania.

He has also held senior engineering roles on the client-side, including as Greater Western Water’s Manager of Infrastructure Quality and South East Water’s Design Manager, giving him a unique view of the solutions needed to make real impact in this crucial sector.
