Strengthening health sector leadership with the appointment of Karl Wilkinson

Beca is excited to be welcoming back Karl Wilkinson to the team as Technical Director – Buildings, further broadening its capability and commitment to the Health and public sector markets.
Karl re-joins Beca from the Ministry of Health where he led the establishment of the newly formed Health Infrastructure Unit, with oversight of the planning and delivery of clinical facilities throughout New Zealand. "This is an exciting time for our Health and Disability system. Beca's values resonate for me, and I'm excited to bring these through into extending long-term partnerships underpinned by care and enjoyment to support the system through this time of change. I'm looking forward to leveraging my experience and networks to further foster links between the public and private sectors, to grow understanding and lift capability to better support the Health system and our construction industry," says Karl.

Stuart Smith, Beca Market Director – Health, says, "Karl's strategic mindset, coupled with his extensive project delivery experience, presents a unique combination to further support the Health and Disability sector in key areas including strategic asset planning, governance, and capability growth.
