Beca appoints Liz Halsted as Business Director – Advisory

Beca is pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Halsted, who joins Beca as Business Director - Advisory on 30 January, 2024.

“On behalf of the Advisory team, I’m really looking forward to welcoming Liz into this leadership role. Liz will be joining our Transport Advisory team based in Auckland and will also work with our Industrial, Power, and Transport & Infrastructure teams,” GM Community Shaping Anna Lewis says.

Liz brings extensive experience working across the public and private transport, land-use and energy sectors in New Zealand and the UK, including at Transport for London and Auckland Transport.

“Liz utilises her strategic, place-shaping, renewable energy, and transport planning experience across the infrastructure sector to deliver insight, evidence, strategic direction and projects to clients. Sustainability, integration and collaboration are at the heart of everything she does, which makes her a perfect fit for our team here at Beca,” Anna says.

Liz has a strong track record of winning, leading and delivering ‘first-of-kind’ business and new business through building strong client relationships, developing future leaders and delivering projects and programmes successfully. Liz has led projects including the City Centre to Mangere Light Rail Competition, Port of Auckland Hydrogen project, Auckland Roads and Streets framework, the London Ultra Low Emission Zone and developing the first EV charging network in London.
