Beca is delighted to be recognised for the fourth year running as Randstad New Zealand’s ‘Most attractive Employer’ in the Construction & Engineering sector, ranking eighth overall in New Zealand’s top employers to work for.
The Randstad Employer Brand Research study is the world’s largest, spanning 26 countries. Unlike other best employer awards, it is ‘the people’s choice’ award. In New Zealand, the winners are selected from the 150 largest organisations by employee number and are based on the perceptions of over 4,000 members of the general public.
Darryl-Lee Wendelborn, Managing Director of Beca New Zealand said “Our people are what make Beca so special and it’s fantastic in our centenary year to be recognised by one of the biggest communities we serve. We have really clear goals that focus our efforts on being representative and inclusive of everyone who works here, and we believe that this makes us a more innovative and creative place to be. In a challenging year, our values of partnership, tenacity, care and enjoyment have really shone through across our business and it’s great to see this reflected in the Randstad results.”
New Zealand Talent Acquisition Manager, Heather Douglas said “In these challenging times, candidates are telling us that what’s most important to them is changing. We are listening and adapting to make sure that no matter what is going on around us, we are creating an environment where our people are able to thrive, feel valued and engaged to do their best.”
“We are proud to see that our ongoing efforts to ensure our people have access to flexible working arrangements, the latest technology, career development opportunities as well as prioritising work-life balance is being recognised by New Zealanders. Making the top 10 across all categories is great recognition we are on the right track.” said Heather.
