Wood Beca appoints industry leader Howard Burvill to lead its expansion in the Australian Wood & Fibre market

Industry leader Howard Burvill joins Wood Beca as Business Development Consultant to support clients in the growth and delivery of sustainable solutions in the Wood & Fibre market.

Wood Beca is excited to announce the appointment of Howard Burvill as business development consultant for the Australian Wood & Fibre market. With 40 years' experience, Howard’s tenure with Wood Beca will focus on the many challenges and opportunities in this sector, supporting growth and sustainability.

Howard enters the role following several senior management positions in the pulp and paper industry, and with an extensive background in process engineering across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and South America. He has been actively involved with the Australasian Pulp & Paper Industry Technical Association (APPITA) since 1983 and has been a member of trustees for BioPRIA since 2009.

Howard’s role with Wood Beca will involve the development of solutions across mass timber processes, residue processing, fibre recycling, bioprocessing and bioenergy offerings. With a deep expertise that goes beyond traditional wood products, Howard’s contribution will enhance Wood Beca’s offering in the sustainability space and support growth in all areas of the Wood & Fibre market.
