Weravat Tudthong appointed as Beca’s new Managing Director for Thailand

Beca is excited to announce the appointment of K. Weravat Tudthong – Khun Note to the role of Managing Director – Thailand, effective 1 April 2024, based in Bangkok.

With a proven track record in client relationship management, major project delivery and line management, Khun Note’s expertise will play a key role in navigating the course for our business in Thailand, including managing the relationship with industry bodies and key clients.

Weravat says, “I am pleased to step in to the role of Managing Director for Thailand at Beca. Beca’s distinctive offering is of great benefit here in Thailand and I am focused on broadening our reach so that we can bring our services to more local communities across our Asia Pacific markets.”

Weravat has more than 20 years’ experience in structural engineering projects in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Samui. He has successfully led local and international projects including One Bangkok, Cloud 11, Banyan Tree Samui, and Rosewood Phuket.

From joining Warnes Associates (which later merged with Beca) to becoming a Section Manager for Beca Thailand Structures in 2015 and a Technical Director in 2022, he has played a pivotal role in guiding Beca’s business in Thailand, particularly in engaging with clients and connecting with the local industry.

Weravat brings a blend of technical expertise and a passion for management to this role. He is focused on helping clients solve complex challenges and introducing new clients to the services Beca offers.

He holds a B. Eng (Civil Engineering) from Thammasat University in Bangkok and an MBA from the same university. A keen learner, he is currently studying towards a Ph.D. in Management & Resource Development.

Beca acknowledges and is grateful to Vanich Nopnirapath, retired Managing Director, who played a leading part in Beca’s Thailand business over the last eight years – a period that has seen us deliver a number of landmark projects while navigating complex economic conditions and of course, the global pandemic.
