In 2013, Vaibhav decided to move to New Zealand in search of his next challenge and international experience.

Born and raised in Mumbai, Vaib started his career in the automobile industry. Vaib is passionate about everything on wheels, including office chairs, so initially he started his career in automobile consulting. From there he moved to work as a plant and machinery valuer, which is how his career in valuations started.

Following his decision to move to New Zealand in 2013, Vaib chose Beca because of the vibrant and multicultural environment. The mentoring programme allows him to develop his skills and network with people along the way.

Now you’ll find him working in our valuations team. His diverse daily work involves designing valuation models, conducting site visits, researching specialised equipment or assisting in alliance work for Auckland Motorways. He also works closely with our structures and asset management teams.

Vaib keeps his work life balance healthy by practicing his black belt karate skills in his free time - and anything to do with cars still catches his attention – plus grabbing opportunities to travel.

For now, this car-loving valuer has fallen in love with New Zealand and plans to stay.

I just love working here

Because of the variety of the work and the vibrancy of the team.
