Marcus Jaques started out at Beca as a summer intern in New Zealand. Not long after graduating from university he moved to Melbourne, Australia to take a role as a Civil Engineer in our Airports team. Fast forward a few years and he is now Team Leader working on airport capital and maintenance projects. His previous experience as a contractor has given him a great understanding of how pavement construction occurs on site, and how to minimise disruption to their operating airfield.
1. What company value resonates with you most and why?

Getting early exposure to working with clients and contractors at Wellington International Airports in New Zealand has really set me up and instilled some important skills.
