Tearfund Poverty Cycle

Cycling for the freedom of others.

The Tearfund Poverty Cycle Challenge is a fun, 150km relay event that fights for the freedom of children and women caught in human trafficking, sex slavery and exploitation.

It's become a popular annual event for our growing group of cycling enthusiasts who want to make a difference and help combat this serious issue.

Banding together, our teams have raised more than NZ$32’000 over the last four years they’ve taken part.

Funds raised have enabled Tearfund to work with partners in Southern and Southeast Asia to tackle human trafficking through prevention, rescue, prosecution and rehabilitation.

If you’re up for the challenge, check out www.povertycycle.org.nz and join us in breaking the cycle of poverty.
