Beca leads the way in providing RICS APC-approved development programme

We are elated to be one of the first three New Zealand firms named as Approved Providers to deliver the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) development programme, alongside Maynard Marks and Hampton Jones. The programme aligns with our commitment to provide ongoing support for our employees to gain membership of one of the world's leading professional standards bodies.

Through the APC development programme, new graduates and property professionals are guided through the process of qualifying for membership of RICS and gaining the coveted "Chartered" status - the highest qualification achievable in the property industry.

Ceri Bain, Project Director for Project and Cost Management, and Member of RICS says "with the range of professional property services that Beca offers worldwide, being associated with one of the world's leading professional bodies in this field directly complements our values."

"We recognise that aligning our structured on-the-job training with the RICS APC development programme will enable our people to continue to grow into their chosen field as well as be an attractive employment and retention drawcard across our business. In addition, our current Members and Fellows of RICS, have undertaken to actively mentor our developing professionals and future leaders by supporting them within a structured career framework. Beca is proud to be associated with RICS."
