Perri Duffy wins 2015 NZPI Young Planner Award

Congratulations to Perri Duffy, Senior Planner - Environments, who has been awarded the 2015 Lance Leikis New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI) Young Planner Award. The award, announced on 16 April at the NZPI 2015 Conference Awards Presentation in Auckland, recognises Perri's significant contribution to the planning industry and on-going support and mentoring of young planners.

The Auckland Young Planners Committee believes "There is no one more deserving of this prestigious award than Perri Duffy. Her many years of direct involvement in Institute affairs have made lasting and meaningful contributions to individual young planning professionals."

Perri first started with Beca as a student planner in 2007, later returning as a graduate in 2009. She has been actively involved in the Auckland Young Planners Committee since 2010, demonstrating her passion and commitment to advancing the status of young planners throughout New Zealand. Her efforts were recognised in 2012 when she was elected as the Auckland Branch Young Planners Representative, before being quickly promoted to National Young Planners Representative, a position she held until 2014.

General Manager of Environments, John Duffy says "We are very supportive and proud of the initiatives and roles Perri has pursued and successfully delivered. Please join us in congratulating Perri on this fantastic achievement."
