Martin Scerri appointed as a Fellow with Engineers Australia

Congratulations to Martin Scerri, Senior Associate with our Project Management team in Australia, on attaining Fellow status with Engineers Australia. Fellows of Engineers Australia are recognised as being amongst the true leaders of the industry and profession, so this is wonderful recognition of Martin’s industry expertise and contribution.

For over 20 years, Martin has been involved with various multi-disciplinary projects in the field of project management. Martin's career commenced as a Project Engineer within the water industry where he worked on a number of significant capital infrastructure projects, including the 12km North Western Sewer project in Melbourne. Martin has also worked across a number of other areas including manufacturing, retail, property, and most recently airports where he has successfully managed multi-million dollar projects.

Martin has been with Beca for eight years and is currently the Project Manager on the Taxiway Victor South Program where he and the team are responsible for the delivery of taxiway and building infrastructure at Melbourne Airport. Typical of an airport environment, the project operates under strict operational restrictions and must liaise with many interfacing projects, including extensive stakeholder communications.

Martin also recently achieved certification through the Australian Institute of Project Management as a Certified Senior Project Manager (CPSPM) and a Registered Project Manager (RegPM).
