We're pleased to announce the appointment of John Marsh to the new role of Group Market Leader - Airports. John will continue to drive the growth and success of our global Airports business and diversify the services we offer our clients across Australia, Asia and New Zealand.
Over the past ten years our Airports team has experienced significant success. As we celebrate the team's 10th anniversary, it is fitting to create a more deliberate focus for continued growth and success in this key market. This new leadership role will create that focus; providing another strong thread in our matrix model to bring the right people and services together from across Beca to create value for our clients.
Ian Bull, Group Director Infrastructure Markets says "Investments in infrastructure continues to increase across our operating footprint and the airports market remains strong. As collaboration between our Trans-Tasman teams goes from strength to strength and opportunities for new airport developments across Asia arise, we have identified how we can best support our clients with our broad service offering."
John joined Beca in 1992. He was promoted to Technical Director in 2003 and later moved into the role of General Manager of Geotechnical, Airports and Survey. He's been involved in a wide range of infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand and overseas, and gained extensive experience in airport engineering and infrastructure. He's also on the executive committee of the New Zealand Airports Association, ensuring appropriate representation of the sector.
John says he is "Excited by the opportunity and thrilled with the challenges this new role will provide. I'm looking forward to working closely with existing and new clients across a range of geographies and service offerings to help make their businesses grow and prosper."
