Shaping the nation – Beca supports Building Nations 2018 as exclusive technology sponsor

We are really excited to be the exclusive technology sponsor of Building Nations for a second year. Held in Auckland on 16 and 17 August, Building Nations is New Zealand’s premier infrastructure conference, attended by private and public sector experts and influencers in the infrastructure space. The two-day event will focus on ‘Lifting Vision and Creating Value’.

Beca will be hosting an online poll after each of the major sessions of the conference to test the mood of the room. The data we gather from our infrastructure leaders helps to inform future decision making. Last year demonstrated an appetite for change in national infrastructure development, with the polling helping to clarify the sentiment of delegates. We’re looking forward to seeing what the results indicate this year.

WIN, the Women’s Infrastructure Network, will be hosting a breakfast during Building Nations. As a founding partner of WIN, we are proud to be attending another invaluable networking event for women who work in the infrastructure sector. Tracey Ryan, Business Director Clients and Markets for our Transport and Infrastructure team, and WIN board member, will be attending the session.

We will have several of our infrastructure leaders attending the event, including Rupert Hodson, our Northern Region Manager. Rupert is working with a number of Beca experts to look at the bigger picture of urban development in Auckland and understand how Beca can help Auckland grow at pace and scale to reach its full potential as a city.
