Jacobs / Beca partnership secures MSP contract from Australian Department of Defence

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) and Beca are proud to be one of only four consortia to be contracted as a Major Service Provider (MSP) to the Capability, Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) of the Department of Defence.

The MSP is a new CASG initiative enabling longer periods of above-the-line contracting providing greater business surety, reducing costs and enhancing value for money outcomes for Department of Defence programs as they embark upon delivering the Government’s ambitious integrated investment program. 

The new approach enables CASG to more effectively engage with industry to better leverage resources and experience and ensures an enhanced and sustainable industry capability exists to support Commonwealth work requirements. The work promotes collaborative behaviours, and strategic, co-operative and constructive working relationships between the Commonwealth and industry.
