Beca is proud to announce the appointment of Jonathan Barnett as Dunedin Branch Manager, effective 1 December 2018. Jonathan brings significant experience as a Technical Director – Structural Engineering to the role.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Jonathan graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne with aMaster of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering. He joined Beca’s Dunedin office in 2007 and has seen significant growth in the local business during that time. He will transition into the Branch Manager role in early December, which will see him lead an incredibly talented and close-knit multidisciplinary team.
Beca continues to pride itself on working in close partnership with our clients, so that we can really understand their needs, and bring greater value to their businesses. For over a decade, Jonathan has developed and nurtured exceptional relationships with the local business community and is well respected for his technical ability and leadership skills.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family, he also swims, surfs when he can and plays hockey for Taieri Hockey Club and this year has represented Club and Dunedin at the NZ Masters Games.
