Congratulations are in order for Priscilla Steel, Senior Associate – Communications and Engagement, who has recently been appointed to the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Australasian Board of Directors.
IAP2 is a global body which leads and champions best practice communications and engagement work. IAP2 is committed to advancing public participation through training, awards, professional certification programmes, publications and advocacy work.
Board members serve three year terms and are elected by fellow IAP2 members; a testament to Priscilla's track record and good standing with her industry peers. Priscilla's appointment entrenches Beca's position as a growing leader in community and stakeholder engagement.
Priscilla brings to the role over 20 years of experience in communications, engagement and relationship management across the construction industry.
Priscilla says, "I'm thrilled to be taking on this new role and am joining the IAP2 Board with a desire to continue strengthening the professional body for our members by driving value-led, outcomes-driven policy and programmes that support the important work they do. I see this as a fantastic opportunity to promote the work that Beca leads in the engagement space and to continue growing our networks across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific".
