We’re excited to announce that Jason Miles from our Victorian Transport team has been selected for the prestigious 2022 Roads Australia Fellowship Program – a unique mentoring initiative that matches promising talent with some of the most experienced, senior leaders in Australia’s infrastructure sector.
A national initiative, the Roads Australia Fellowship provides excellent opportunities and encouragement for the transport sectors’ next generation to develop their leadership skills, build strong networks with likeminded peers and stay up to date with the latest industry developments. In reflecting on this excellent opportunity, Jason Miles, Associate – Civil Structural Engineering says “the unprecedented access to an influential executive in the transport sector for one-on-one mentoring is very exciting for me at this pivotal stage in my engineering journey. I am extremely grateful to be selected amongst such an amazing and diverse selection of fellows for the 2022 intake. I look forward to collaborating with them all throughout the fellowship and beyond!”
The program will run for approximately 12 months, with each fellow matched with a mentor in his or her home state. Participants will meet frequently throughout the year with their mentors, which include current and former chief executives of transport agencies, major private sector infrastructure companies, and senior political leaders. A mid-year site visit will also bring the 40 2022 fellows together, followed by an end-of-program dinner at its conclusion.
