We are thrilled to be supporting Building Nations 2021 as a Silver sponsor.
Held virtually between 16-19 November, Building Nations is New Zealand’s premier infrastructure event, bringing together private and public sector thought leaders and decision-makers from across the infrastructure sector.

This year’s theme ‘fork in the road’ will be a chance for delegates to step back from the day to day and focus on the big picture. As a nation recovering from the economic impacts of COVID-19, it will be the smart infrastructure decisions our industry makes now that contribute to a healthier, happier, and more sustainable future for Aotearoa New Zealand.

The four-day event will cover a range of topics relevant to the sector and will have several of our Beca representatives joining in as panellists.

Amelia Linzey, Group Director – Advisory and Chief Planner, will be a panellist in the Resource Management System Reform discussion which will form part of the Local Government in Focus session.

John Blyth, Māori Business Advisory Lead, Caroline Hope, Process Engineer and Connon Andrews, Market Director - Climate Resilience and Adaptation will be taking part in a conversation on the topic of Sustainable Infrastructure – a call to action. The group will be talking about the clear need to change how we work now to deliver truly sustainable infrastructure. Sarah MacCormick, Associate Planner will be facilitating the discussion.

We are looking forward to joining an exciting line-up of local and international speakers and panellists and contributing to the discussions and decision-making that will help shape the future for New Zealand.
