Beca is excited to announce the official appointment this week of Andrea Rickard, Beca New Zealand General Manager – Transport and Infrastructure, to the Association of Consulting and Engineering (ACE) New Zealand Board.
Voted in by ACE New Zealand members for what will be a three-year term, this is fantastic recognition of Andrea’s passion, leadership and contribution to the sector.

As a Board member, Andrea will be responsible for helping lead the work of ACE New Zealand, and supporting the association to grow its business, people and influence.

“I am passionate about telling the story of how our consulting professions shape the form and function of our natural and built environments, communities and underpin how our future generations will experience the world we leave them – we are too humble as an industry!” says Andrea.

“I believe ACE New Zealand has an important role to play in shaping that story – in particular clarity in articulating the value our professions bring to Aotearoa. ACE New Zealand is in a great place to bring a united voice to advocate for, and celebrate, what we achieve.”

ACE New Zealand is a firm-based membership association that represents consulting and engineering organisations throughout Aotearoa.

Founded in 1959, the association now has more than 200 member firms, who employ some 13,000 staff and play a critical role in the design and delivery of our nation's construction, infrastructure and built environment sectors.
