Jane has worked for both consulting and contracting organisations on a number of major building and large infrastructure projects, leading teams from project inception to completion.
Jane leads Beca’s Project and Cost Management team in New Zealand’s South Island. She brings over 25 years’ experience, having held a number of international project, cost and business management roles in the United Kingdom, Germany, China and Hong Kong.
Starting her career as a chartered quantity surveyor in a private practice, Jane later joined global engineering and construction company Bechtel, where she worked on a number of major international infrastructure developments as a project controls and commercial manager.
In 2006 Jane joined Beca in Christchurch, New Zealand. She has a strong focus on contractual and financial risks, and is passionate about developing the strategies required to successfully deliver projects. Significant projects that Jane has been involved with since joining Beca include Housing New Zealand Corporation’s South Island Property Upgrade, the Christchurch City Mall project and the Burwood Landfill Gas Utilisation Scheme.
Jane enjoys the people management aspects of her role, particularly guiding her team members in their professional development, and tailoring project teams to best meet our clients’ needs.
