Since joining Beca, Kieren has been instrumental in the successful delivery of a number of projects at several Australian commercial airports.
Kieren joined Beca in 2010. Based in our Brisbane office, Kieren leads our Beca Airports team in the region and is currently heading our dedicated engineering team at Brisbane Airport as Project Director for major works. In his role he works closely with Beca's Airport Market Segment Manager, as well as Beca Airports' specialised project management and design teams in across the Asia Pacific.
Kieren has over 12 years' experience in the planning, design and delivery of aviation and port infrastructure projects. He has particular experience in airside pavements and the security requirements of terminal buildings.
Prior to joining Beca, Kieren was Operations Projects Group Manager for Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC), undertaking a number of commissions for major airport infrastructure projects. These ranged from planning studies through to detailed design, documentation and delivery, including client liaison and stakeholder management.
Outside of traditional aviation and port projects, Kieren also has extensive experience in commercial precinct development for both BAC and the Port of Brisbane Corporation. These projects covered a wide range of engineering services such as road and sewer works, water supply, stormwater, flood studies, electrical, communications, and security.
