Camilla rejoined Beca in 2005 after five years working in the UK, where she gained valuable experience in the both the wastewater and petrochemical sectors.
Camilla is a chartered chemical engineer with more than 12 years' experience in environmental engineering, specifically in the area of air quality assessment. Her background as a process engineer which means she is able to provide sound, practical advice on environmental matters.
Based in the Auckland office, Camilla has managed a wide variety of environmental projects for our industrial clients providing technical advice on air quality effects and assessment including air dispersion modelling, odour assessment, emission control techniques and ambient monitoring.
Her experience in managing the environmental impacts of large petrochemical projects has given her a thorough understanding of the industrial service sector and its environmental requirements.
Camilla enjoys the large variety of projects she gets involved in thanks to Beca's broad range of market sectors and disciplines.
She has worked closely with NZ Steel, assisting with environmental aspects of the ongoing operations and planning for future projects. Through working on a number of major roading projects on behalf of the New Zealand Transport Agency, including the Harbour Bridge to City project, Camilla has also developed extensive knowledge in the assessment of air quality impacts of vehicle emissions. She has also prepared evidence on odour assessments and given expert witness presentations at court hearings.
Camilla is passionate about making a difference to the communities we live in and finding practical solutions to the environmental issues that are becoming more and more important in everything we do.
