Malcolm leads Beca's survey, GIS and digital mapping team of over 50 land information professionals located throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Malcolm has contributed over 25 years to the Land Information sector in New Zealand. Having worked and lived throughout NZ and the South Pacific, his extensive knowledge of land information systems, GIS, surveying and photogrammetric systems brings appropriate solutions to client’s land information requirements.
As General Manager of Beca's Geospatial business, Malcolm is also able to provide advice on useful business and design strategies. Registered as a professional surveyor, Malcolm has specialist knowledge of the land information and infrastructure industry including measurement, data collection, analysis and presentation of information.
With a great depth of experience in a variety of national and international Surveying and GIS projects, Malcolm gets involved in concept development, implementation, training and post project follow ups. He also participates in academic training as a guest lecturer for both NZ and South Pacific universities.
