Seventeen Beca buildings projects have been recognised by Singapore's
Building and Construction Authority (BCA) at a recent BCA Awards ceremony at
Resorts World Sentosa.
Held annually, the BCA Awards aim to highlight the commitment towards more environmentally-friendly and sustainable buildings in shaping Singapore's built environment.
National University of Singapore (NUS) was the first educational institution in Singapore to be conferred a Green Mark Champion Award. Beca provided civil, structural and building services engineering design for the entire campus infrastructure, six residential colleges and the 34,000m2 green-roofed EduSports building.
National Heart Centre Singapore's (NHCS) new building, for which Beca provided structural engineering services, was awarded the highest accolade for green building certification in Singapore with a Green Mark Platinum Award.

- Carlton City Hotel Singapore
- Connexion
- PARKROYAL on Pickering and One Upper Pickering
- Republic Polytechnic (RP) Expansion Project and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) Campus Building
- Sofitel So Singapore
- Changi City
For the first time the awards included a charity drive, with Beca's Asia Hub Chairman Mr Lee Chuan Seng presenting the donation cheque in his capacity as BCA's Deputy Chairman.
