These alliances enable us to seek new opportunities to support the defence force and their national or international suppliers in Australia and New Zealand.
Beca has delivered project planning, development and implementation services for a wide range of projects from the development of infrastructure and facilities for Navy, Army and Air to the development of software and systems for specialist Military Equipment. Our strength lies in being able to offer a holistic service including management services, infrastructure, building service, systems engineering and software engineering.
We draw our resources on infrastructure projects from a wide range of consulting disciplines including architecture, electrical and mechanical engineering, civil and structural engineering, surveying and project management. Notable examples in this area include the reconstruction of the main runway at RNZAF Base Ohakea, the design and construction administration of a new Damage Control school for the RNZN at Devonport in Auckland and the development of a baffled rifle range for Army.
We also have a specialist team within our Beca Applied Technologies Ltd, which develops mission systems software.
