Beca was named Supreme Winner at the
New Zealand International Business Awards held in Auckland last night.
The awards are organised by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) and take place annually to celebrate New Zealand businesses operating successfully in offshore markets.
NZTE Chief Executive Tim Gibson said about this year's awards, "The standard of entries has been incredibly high. I am impressed by the number of entrants who have demonstrated not only strong business basics, but the ability to adapt and find creative ways to make themselves stand out and succeed internationally."
Awards judge David Green, who leads strategic partner ANZ's Institutional business in New Zealand, paid tribute to all the finalists, saying "New Zealand businesses are known for their innovation and strong leadership. They are resilient and have strategies in place that allow them to react quickly to changing market conditions."
Beca CEO Keith Reynolds accepted the category award, saying "As an internationally-oriented consultancy focused on client service and innovation, we are very proud to be recognised in this forum for our creativity, delivery and value."
In accepting the Supreme Award, Paul White, Managing Director of Beca's International division, said "Above everything else, Beca is a people business. Our successful track record can be attributed to our pool of talented and committed people who are passionate about making a difference around the world."
