Every year, we take on a number of second and third year university students in our Singapore office for a 12-22 week internship. It’s a great way to achieve your practical degree requirements while earning next year’s fees! It also gives you an opportunity to work alongside other engineers in all sorts of disciplines and experience some of the many career path options available within the consultancy industry.
As a student employee, the work that you do will vary, depending on how many years of study you have completed, how proactive you are and the section you are placed with. Typically, you will have opportunities to apply what you have learnt at university, build networks with other students, graduates and more senior professionals, and understand more about what career options are available to you after graduation.
But no matter what you end up doing, you can be sure the exposure you gain in the professional consulting environment will provide learning opportunities.
