Providing guest lecturers at engineering schools, coaching school sports teams, charity sponsorships - they're all part of an extensive community involvement programme we've run for many years.

Integral to its success are the partnerships we've established with selected tertiary institutions. In addition to making some of our leading experts available as guest lecturers on a regular basis, some Beca offices offer holiday jobs to students, a step that helps them meet their practical study requirements. We also offer scholarships to engineering students at New Zealand's University of Auckland and University of Canterbury.

At high school level we participate in career days, with many of our employees visiting schools to kindle young people's interest in engineering.

Numerous charities receive our donations, and we prefer to support the charities our employees support. Employees who themselves excel at sport or the arts - or who are keen to explore a specific area of study or research, are also eligible for sponsorship.
